The Streaming Giant Selects Ideal Star for Mr. 2 in the Hit Series Third Season

Baroque Works is geared up to exert significant influence in the forthcoming season on Netflix of One Piece, even if the real showdown won’t unfold until the next season, and a adored, audience-beloved member has now been chosen.

The platform declared this week that Cole Escola has joined the One Piece cast for the third season and will embody Bentham. The role can use their power to morph into an identical duplicate of any individual they’ve made contact with with their main hand. The performer, who is gender non-conforming and prefers they/them pronouns, will play a version of that role reimagined as non-binary, rather than as a drag performer, in the real-life adaptation, differing from the original manga and animated series.

Escola joins several other fresh additions set to bring Baroque Works to reality, featuring leader Mr. 0, portrayed by Joe Manganiello, a talented actress as Miss Goldenweek, and an accomplished actor, who is also part of the cast as the monarch of Alabasta.

Although the role is a major member of the group, the individual will be introduced in One Piece the third season. With season 2 set to cover the Little Garden arc, this marks a notable change in the schedule of Bon Clay’s introduction, one that could indicate additional alterations to the story’s structure.

The actor’s combination of precise humor and deep sensitivity makes them a perfect fit for the part. Along with their recent voice performance in the animated feature Boys Go to Jupiter, they garnered significant recognition and several accolades for creating and performing in the successful stage production Oh Mary!, highlighting the adaptability they’ll bring to one of One Piece’s widely praised characters.

The platform’s adapted One Piece program is due to premiere for its season two on March 10th, 2026.
