Former President Trump revealed on Sunday that he has asked the loved ones of a Guard member fatally shot last week to come to the executive mansion.

He noted that he conversed with her parents and they were “deeply grieving”.

US army specialist Beckstrom, 20, was killed in a shooting on last Wednesday in DC.

Her comrade, US air force staff Sgt Andrew Wolfe, 24, continues receiving treatment in serious condition.

The commander-in-chief said he’s proposed a visit to the White House for the parents of both members of the West Virginia Guard.

“I stated: ‘When you’re prepared, because that’s a difficult moment, come to the White House. We’re going to honor her,” the president told the press. “And similarly with him, recover or not.”

Attendees gathered over the past few days at the high school in the state to remember Beckstrom.

Both the soldiers had been fulfilling duties with the state guard as part of Trump’s government program to aid policing efforts in Washington DC.

She carried herself with inner fortitude, a warm expression and a optimistic attitude that inspired people around her,” the principal, the leader of her former high school, informed the press. “She was caring, considerate and always eager to support those in need.”

Judicial Measures and Policy Revisions

Authorities have indicted a 29-year-old suspect with one count of first-degree murder and two counts of attempted murder while carrying a weapon.

The incident caused the government to halt asylum processing and halt granting entry permits to possessors of passports from Afghanistan.

Status of Wolfe

The airman, a resident of the city, began his service in February 2019 and is a 2019 graduate of Musselman High, according to the AP.

“She had a lot of kindness and she absolutely had courage,” the governor told the gathering at the vigil. “Though her life ended too soon, she has made an impact that’s going to last forever.”
