During a commanding display, England clinched one more triumph against Albania, with a number of players turning in memorable performances on the pitch.

Dean Henderson Was rarely tested to make in the first half until forced to intervene from Arbër Hoxha’s bent shot. His sliding intervention on Qazim Laci showed sharp reading of the game. 6/10

The debutant Tested by the opposition's main danger through Hoxha. Played through the middle to begin with later drifted out wide once a teammate came on. 7/10

The defender Moved forward with the ball at his feet, a familiar role in the past. At times was too casual on the ball and the tactic discontinued at half-time. 6

Dan Burn A nuisance on corners and free-kicks, typically, perhaps is another option to his teammate in defense rather than his partner. One wayward pass after the break almost led to a goal for Albania. 6/10

Nico O’Reilly Another composed showing by the rising star following his first cap against Serbia. Saka did not capitalize on full advantage of a clever backheel behind their defense. The role is firmly his at this stage. 7

The midfielder Crosses on corner kicks and set-plays created chances. Was given license to drift down the left flank yet found himself in an offside position when the ball arrived in front of goal. Awarded a well-earned break on the hour mark. Six

Jude Bellingham Operated in an advanced position down the right and also put in the hard yards. Showed glimpses of brilliance but mishit a shot over. Withdrawn in the closing stages by a teammate, a fellow player, after receiving a caution. Seven

Jarrod Bowen Had the team's best chance of the first half, his shot smartly stopped from the Albanian keeper. As a teammate holding position, he had to stretch the play on the right yet his deliveries into the box were hit and miss. Substituted for the final quarter-hour. 6

The captain The decisive figure with his 77th and 78th finishes for his country. His first a trademark poacher’s finish while the second a superb headed goal following a clever run from his marker. At 32, his form is unwavering and the side have every chance in future competitions with him up top. 8/10

Eberechi Eze Had difficulty to influence play from the left. Was presented with a good opening after being played in by Bellingham yet the keeper kept it out. Rashford had a greater effect when substituted. 5/10
