Attorney General's Statement

The head of the Justice Department, the Attorney General, confirmed the prosecutor's departure on the start of the week. In a statement that the court's "flawed" ruling made it "untenable" for Habba to effectively run her office.

"But do not mistake adherence to the ruling as defeat," Habba stated. "This battle will now extend throughout the country."
