Across the fiercely cutthroat world of gaming, it's usual for emerging rivals to vanish as rapidly as they burst on to the stage.
Yet this new installment is striving to alter that.
Here comes the newest release in a long-standing combat FPS series commonly described as a grittier answer to its main competitor.
This game has never quite managed to rival its most famous opponent in aspects of units sold or gamers, but indicators suggest the new installment could reduce the distance.
An early access session allowing users a shot to try out the game earlier this year achieved milestones, and the excitement leading up to its debut has been immense.
But the endeavor is nonetheless a major risk for publisher Electronic Arts, which has according to sources spent huge sums of money making it.

Production Team and Developer Partnership
A total of four development houses are creating the game under the unified development umbrella.
This includes original series developer the original team, headquartered in Sweden, LA's Motive team and Ripple Effect in the Great White North.
One more, the Guildford team, is situated in Guildford.
The general manager is the general manager of the two continental teams, and shares with us that, in regards of what it's providing gamers, "this new game is likely unsurpassed."
Learning From Previous Errors
This title comes off the release of the futuristic Battlefield 2042, released previously to a negative response it had difficulty to overcome.

In spite of claims that the scope of the game had put a strain on the multiple developers working together across continents to build the game, he is upbeat about the process.
"Partnering with diverse cultures, varied backgrounds, it's a very fascinating environment to be part of every day," he says.
"This entire approach has been an innovation but something really inspiring because we are partnering with individuals from internationally."
Concerning the pressure on the developers, the director comments: "We experience demand but at the same time it's thrilling.
"It's a major venture. It's likely the largest that the majority of the team have ever participated in."
Young Talent Contributes Innovative View
This is certainly accurate of at least one team member, lighting artist Vlad Kokhan.
The recent hire creates the atmospheric effects that define the atmosphere, tone, and direction of the solo experience.
The artist finished an training period at the studio prior to securing a position at the company, and now is employed with reduced hours while finishing his digital arts degree at the university.
The developer states he's a dedicated fan of the games, and recollects experiencing the fourth instalment of the franchise at a pal's home when he was younger.
To be on it currently, as his debut career position, "seems unreal real."
"It's truly amazing seeing the advertising in many places," he shares.
"To know that I have contributed my individual work into the project is very surreal."
