The pair of scholars who were killed in the recent violent attack in Providence had tributes paid to them on Monday – while an intensive search for their killer continued following the discharge by Rhode Island officials of the only individual questioned in the case.

Honoring a Lost Student

Ella Cook, a second-year scholar from Alabama, was remembered as “an incredible, grounded, faithful, bright light”, per the Birmingham's Cathedral Church of the Advent, which honored her memory at a gathering on Sunday.

She served as second-in-command of Brown’s branch of the campus GOP group, as the club stated. Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt also shared condolences publicly, stating: “Words cannot express. Remembering her kin and peers, above all her mom and dad.”

The Second Victim

The second fatality was MukhammadAziz Umurzokov, from Uzbekistan in his initial year at the renowned school, family members said.

The victim's identification was officially acknowledged by the foreign office of Uzbekistan.

Nine other people were wounded in the violent event in the school of engineering of Brown’s grounds in Providence, during the institution's end-of-term tests.

Authorities said by the end of Sunday that a man aged 24 arrested in a raid at a lodging about 17 miles from the campus earlier in the day was released from custody.

“We have a murderer out there,” stated Peter Neronha, Peter Neronha.
